What No Shame AI is

No Shame AI is an adult AI companion and character chat site. Users sign up for free, pick or design a character, and talk in text, with image and video generation sold as premium features. The site says it works in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, and its girlfriend page also speaks of an app next to the website. There is a free starter tier with welcome messages, so a reader can try it before paying.

The site speaks of an AI GF, an AI boyfriend, NSFW roleplay chatbots and an anime girlfriend, so one product covers companion chat, roleplay and anime-style characters for more than one audience. Its front page claims 200+ characters, and both the welcome screen and the terms say all characters are fictional and 18+.

What you can do with it

A visit starts with a short onboarding. The welcome screen offers "I'm new here", which asks a few playful questions to find a matching companion in under a minute, or "I've been here before", which goes straight to the characters. The catalog is split into Girls, Anime and Guys, and the top menu lists Explore, Chat, Collection, Generate, Create and My Characters.

The character catalog is shown as cards with a first name and an age, sortable by Newest and Popular and filterable by body type, ethnicity and age. Among the cards sits a "Create Your Own" prompt, "Design her look, style and personality", and a premium panel that mentions unlimited messages and image and video generation. The home page says the catalog can also be browsed by tags and names Curvy, Slim and Latina as examples. The ages on the cards run across a wide adult range. A feature marked as beta, Living Places, attaches a few locations to a character, and the site describes walking her between places while the scene changes.

Chat is the base. The home page says characters respond in real time, adapt to the user's tone and mood, and are available at any hour. A roleplay page describes scenario-based chats where the replies stay aligned with the chosen roleplay, with a library of chatbots to choose from and a way to create a custom one: the page says to describe looks and attitude with simple commands and the character is built within seconds. It adds that roles, tones and scenarios can be switched mid-session and that more than one character can be added to a chat. A dirty-chat page makes the same pitch with a character generator for face, body, attitude and style, and it promises chats with no limits and no chat filters. That wording is the site's marketing, and the Terms and Blocked Content Policy still apply to every request.

The Guys section, marked as new, is the AI boyfriend side. Its page describes realistic men with their own look, job and personality, and lets the user set the relationship, from boyfriend or husband to boss, bodyguard or neighbor, which the page says shapes how he talks. The character creator there takes ethnicity, age, body type, hair, eyes, personality, job and relationship. This page is also where the site is most concrete about memory: it says the character remembers what the user shares and builds on it in later chats, and that the user can see and edit what he remembers, reset a chat to start over or delete it entirely.

The anime page sells an 18+ anime girlfriend app, and its title covers anime boyfriends as well. It says users can fine-tune the character's attitude, tone and reactions, that the platform adapts in real time, and that the personality, tone and interaction style can all be customized to build an animated companion. The same page states that every new account gets free welcome messages, so the user can feel the vibe before committing.

Images and video sit under the Generate section, which the site calls the Generation Studio, with separate Images and Videos tabs. The studio is built around a chosen model: the user selects one, picks an outfit and an action, can add a scene description in a text field, and chooses how many images to make in one run, up to 8. The page describes the result as hyper-realistic images, and the site says pictures can be realistic or anime in style. The premium page lists Image Generation, described as generating AI images of a companion, and Video Generation, described as creating realistic AI videos with a companion, plus a Priority Response queue for faster replies. The Explore page adds a feed of character videos and short story openers, each with a Chat button.

Gems are the in-app currency. The premium page says subscribers get free gems each month for premium features, the starter tier includes a gem welcome gift, and the site runs a Gem Store that sells gem packages for image generation, video creation and other premium features.

Free tier, plans and billing

The durable facts first. Signing up is free, and the site says no credit card is needed to start. The free tier is a welcome gift of gems plus free messages; the front page FAQ speaks of a daily message allowance, while the premium page lists the starter tier with a set number of messages. Premium has one feature set sold over 3 terms: unlimited messages, a monthly grant of gems, more photos and videos, priority response and "No restrictions". Longer terms only lower the monthly rate. Gems are a separate purchase on top, and the terms say prices and inclusions are shown at checkout.

In October 2026 the premium page lists the plan at $19.99 a month billed monthly, $15.99 a month billed quarterly and $7.99 a month billed annually. The starter tier on the same page is listed as 15 gems and 15 messages, and the premium bullet promises 200 free gems monthly.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. The refund policy and terms say a user can cancel at any time in account settings, that canceling stops renewals and that access continues to the end of the paid period. The premium FAQ says plans can be switched up or down, with changes reflected in the next billing cycle. The page shows Card and Crypto options; the FAQ names Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and says payment details are protected by SSL encryption and not stored on its servers. The terms add that payments are handled by third-party processors. The page also advertises discreet billing but does not say what name shows on a statement.

The refund policy carries no fixed window. It says purchases open digital features and virtual items such as gems immediately, and that the company will review problems with a purchase. It lists the cases where it refunds: duplicate or clearly erroneous charges, a confirmed technical fault that blocked something paid for, a charge the user did not recognize or authorize, cases where consumer law requires it, and any other case where the user is not satisfied, which is reviewed on its merits. Someone who cancels partway through a paid period can ask for that period to be reviewed. Requests go to the support address with the account email and transaction details, and refunds return to the original payment method.

Rules and privacy

The terms say the service is strictly for adults, 18 or the age of majority where the user lives if higher, and that accounts believed to belong to a minor can be ended. Every character is described as fictional and generated by AI, as not a real person, and as portrayed as a consenting adult aged 18 or older. The community guidelines tell users not to try to make a character appear to be a real person or a minor, and the Blocked Content Policy prohibits impersonation of real individuals and sexual depictions of real, identifiable people.

A separate policy on minors bans any sexualized depiction or role-play of someone under 18, and personas, names or requests that suggest a specific age under 18. It says safety systems block prohibited requests before a reply is generated, that blocked attempts are logged, and that accounts may be suspended and cases reported to the authorities. The Blocked Content Policy lists further themes that are refused whatever the framing, and says a safety layer reads each message before a reply is produced.

On privacy, the site says chats are encrypted and private, that personal data is not sold, and that notifications are generic so they do not give the service away. Per the terms, users keep ownership of their prompts and grant the company a license to process them to operate, secure and improve the service, and an account can be deleted at any time. The terms name the operator only as NoShame.

Who it suits

No Shame AI suits someone who wants one place for companion chat, roleplay and anime-style characters, with a character creator and the option to add images and video later. It addresses more than one audience, with a boyfriend section that has its own creator and stated memory controls. The annual plan is the cheapest monthly rate on the page, which matters to anyone planning to stay. The caveats are plain. The free allowance is small and worded differently from page to page, so it is best treated as a short trial. Image and video generation are listed as premium features, and the store sells gems for them in addition to the monthly grant that comes with the subscription, so the studio can cost more than the plan price alone. Anyone who would rather not pay by card can see a crypto option on the premium page.
